More Motown.. G M Diane made fun of my 30 songs on one CD

She reminded me that she has"hundreds". Okay Diane.. This is for you. It's one of my daughters favorite songs. We listen to Motown in the morning when she's getting ready for school. There must have been something in the water in Detroit, because some of the greatest artist in the world were born there.

Paul Schafer from David Lettermen, said this is the best Love song ever written! I never get tired of listening to it.

Paul wrote "It's Raining Men." Another great song.

I had no idea Paul wrote that.

oh, little navigator, no you di'nt!! It's Raining Men??? That like my tribe's anthem, as I'm sure you know. When I'm out dancing, and I do love to go out dancing, I get sprung if they happen to play this song. I'm not one of those campy flamers or anything, but I think that we must all, regardless, have been born with a Weather Girls gene or something. I didn't know Paul wrote it, but well, I'm really not all that surprised. :-/

Well, thank you, and of course one of my all time favorites, I have sung this song a million times. It is on my IPOD. Haven't seen it preformed like THAT in a few years. Just, JUST this morning, I decided to try writing to a few choice songs and charged IPOD. "Falling Slowly" and "100 Years" but I believe in fate and I am supposed to listen to My Girl tonight, right now, in my story, wow. Oh, and Doug is correct, Hello? That is one of our (my side too, strangely enough) anthems.

Motown songs are classic.
Beautiful songs that really sound like they came from the heart.

I agree Stacee, these songs are older than I am, but I've become very fond of them. It just goes to show you that love and hope lives on forever. No matter how dark the times are, people want to believe that things can get better. We all know that the 60's were a very dark time.
